WHAT WE DO
JOURNEY
Over the last decade, HTG Design joyfully gave Punekars an experience they had never had before: the first farm-to-table in the city. We named it ‘Peik’ which means ‘harvest’ in Marathi - also in reality a peek at the peak of nature - a 9000 square feet dump yard that had been converted within 9 months into an oasis of more than 90 species of herbs, spices and vegetables.
URBAN FARM OFFICE
Beyond Peik, HTG Design rolled out a ‘farm-to-office’ meeting room; a pottery studio; ‘adopt-a-harvest’ farm lots that could be adopted by families to grow their own produce; a 450+ native, non-GMO seed bank; clean celebration spaces and several farm based workshops. A concept design was also created for an outdoor kindergarten school, named ‘Mool’.
In a more urban avatar, HTG Design has designed and built a commercial office building laden in brick and green at a major city junction in Pallod Farms, Pune; taking its tech savvy occupiers back in time and giving them a taste of forgotten spaces. HTG design has also designed one of Pune’s best yoga studios in the heart of Koregaon Park. At Unleash Mvmt, we highlighted the already gorgeous outdoors and gave the biophilic indoor-outdoor connection.
GREEN ARCH & DEV
Adopt-a-Harvest was a soulful project where families adopted a patch of fertile land and grew their own food. It wasn’t just about farming — it was about reconnecting with the earth, with each other, and with the rhythms of nature. Children experienced the wonder of planting seeds, getting muddy, and watching life unfold in real time. The land became a teacher, a playground, and a healer. It was simple, joyful, and transformational.
We have created a living seed bank of over 200 heirloom, native seeds — untouched by labs, unaltered by science, and full of natural resilience. These seeds carry stories, traditions, and the purest expression of nature’s intelligence. They are not genetically modified, but passed down through generations, just as nature intended. It’s a quiet revolution — preserving biodiversity & gifting future generations the freedom to grow real food. A true blessing, rooted in soil and legacy.
We introduced Pune to the idea of clean celebrations — where joy meets responsibility. No plastic, no artificial decor — just the beauty of nature, traditional touches like water served in a pimpa, and meals on steel or glass plates. Every event was thoughtfully designed to generate the least waste possible, with careful segregation and recycling. It was a refreshing shift from excess to essence. A mindful, meaningful way to celebrate what truly matters.
A farm preschool like no other - nestled in a farm, rooted in nature, & guided by Indian wisdom. Children learned by playing in the soil, growing their own food, & spending time with real farm animals. Classrooms were open skies, & lessons unfolded beneath a banyan tree. The space was built with vernacular, biophilic architecture that connected little minds to the rhythms of the earth. It was learning that felt like living: simple, joyful, & grounded. Although we started the construction, we had to shelve this idea before it even began due to the onset of the pandemic in 2020.
